Christmas Markets in Bavaria Itinerary
Depart the US, flying overnight to Munich, Germany.
DAYS 1-3, MUNICH: Arrive in Munich and tour the historic city with a private guide and have dinner at the famous Hofbrauhaus beer hall. Tour through Munich’s famous Christmas markets and attend a Christmas music concert. Take a day trip to the small charming town of Garmisch to see its traditional Christmas markets.
DAYS 4-5, ROTHENBURG: Travel to Rothenburg from Munich while visiting the Württemberg wine region for wine tasting along the way. Take a walking tour of Rothenburg with a local guide and visit Rothenburg’s Christmas markets. Take a short day trip to Dinkelsbühl to see Dinkelsbühl’s Christmas markets with unique regional cuisine.
DAYS 6-7, NUREMBERG: Take a historic walking tour of Nuremberg with a local guide. Venture to Nuremberg’s large Christmas markets with a local chef to learn about the traditional cuisine.
