Along the way, meet artisan producers, hunt for truffles, compare Barolo vintages, and explore the historic centers of Bologna, Modena, Alba and Turin.

Tour price is per person, based on a minimum of six participants and double occupancy. A single supplement of €1,410 is available for those traveling alone who would like their own room.

Depart the US, flying overnight to Bologna.
BEGINS: Bologna, Italy | ENDS: Turin, Italy *

DAYS 1-2, BOLOGNA: Explore Bologna’s porticoes, medieval towers and lively squares with a private guide. At a neighborhood market, select seasonal ingredients with a local chef, then prepare regional dishes, including the pasta traditions that define this corner of Italy, in a hands-on cooking class. Welcome dinner.

DAYS 3-4, MODENA & PARMA: Visit the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, then discover traditional balsamic vinegar over an authentic Emilian lunch. Explore Modena’s UNESCO-listed center before continuing to Parma. Tour the moated Rocca Sanvitale, learn about the craftsmanship behind Culatello and enjoy a gourmet dinner.

DAYS 5-7, ROERO, ALBA & THE LANGHE: See how Parmigiano Reggiano is produced and taste cheeses of different ages before settling into a countryside retreat in the Roero hills for a relaxed pizza dinner. Explore Alba with a local guide and visit the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo for a sensory workshop. Travel through the Langhe for private winery visits, tastings, an estate lunch, and sweeping views from La Morra and Barolo. Compare vintages and meet local winemakers whose knowledge has shaped the region.

DAYS 8-9, ROERO & TURIN: Join an expert Trifulau and trained truffle dogs for a hunt through the woods, followed by lunch and a private chef dinner at the villa. The next day, visit an organic sheep-cheese farm, meet the producer and enjoy a light tasting lunch before continuing to Turin. Discover the city’s elegant squares, Baroque architecture, historic cafés and role as the first capital of unified Italy.

DAY 10, TURIN: Tour the Egyptian Museum with an expert guide, enjoy free time to explore Turin independently and gather for a farewell dinner.

DAY 11: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
