I think Dubrovnik may just be the most beautiful city in the world. It is certainly right up there with the best. The weather is gorgeous, and everyone here is incredibly friendly. Walking down the main street of Old Town, full of beautiful ancient buildings, was an experience in itself.
I met up with my new group of nine this morning. Our local guide Sandra took us on a magnificent walking tour through, around, and on top of the ancient city walls. The views from the top of the walls are spectacular.
There are still a few medieval churches that were not destroyed in the Croatian War of Independence (1991-1995).
Back at our hotel, the Grand Villa Argentina, we enjoyed lunch and a swim. This place isn’t rated 5 stars for nothing!
The rest of the day was left for everyone to explore and relax. Tomorrow: island hopping! Stay tuned for more information from our Croatia small group tours!
Hi Tanya, I realize that it’s been a few weeks since you posted, so I’m sorry for the delay. You can see details here – https://ipswichtours.com/small-group-tour/slovenia-venice-croatia-tours. Next year’s tour should cost about the same.
There is no way I could attend the Croatia tour, I’m just curious of what type of cost it is.
