Today is Day 6 of our June Scotland & Ireland tour. This morning, we depart from the Isle of Skye, driving through the stunning Highlands region to visit Fort William. Fans of the Outlander series will recognize Fort William as one of the story’s locations, although Blackness Castle stands in for the original fort on the show.
After lunch and free time in Fort William, it’s on to see the Glenfinnan Viaduct, otherwise known as the “Harry Potter bridge” that you may recognize from the movie!
After enjoying the beauty of Glencoe Gorge, we head to gorgeous Oban, where we spend the night at a charming seaside inn where we stay every year, and of course, have another delicious dinner. Tomorrow, we get to tour Oban’s famous distillery.
If you’re interested in exploring Scotland and Ireland, we still have a few spaces available on our September tour. Find out more about our Scotland & Ireland tours and request your brochure here.
